$ALDEA will be one of the governance tokens of our DAO. It is a fungible token that will allow its holders to participate in different decisions and access various services inside the ALDEA ecosystem.

Now that we have our token, we can reward the community members who participated in Iteration 0, for having contributed so that we could carry out this experiment.

Introducción
During the second half of 2021, ALDEA carried out its first experiment as a DAO, to finance proposals that were prepared, evaluated and selected by the members of its community.
“Iteration 0” was the name given to this stage, in which about 175 people participated, and which resulted in the partial financing of a project for access to drinking water in a community in Argentina and a ongoing research on governance in ALDEA. These proposals were financed thanks to the sale of NFTs that were specifically designed for this occasion.
The time has come to give back to our community for the work done!
Airdrop Distribution
A total of 9.75M $ALDEA will be distributed, equivalent to 1.5% of the total existing supply.
- The sending of the $ALDEA tokens will be done using the GameChanger Wallet Playground, a powerful code editor for Devs that allows you to create web applications, mint tokens and send transactions, among other things
- You will receive your tokens along with approximately 1.34 ADA
- We will ship during the week of Monday, October 17, 2022
- All scripts will be public and can be accessed from ALDEA GitHub
- We will publish the wallets that will receive airdrop two days before sending
- In the case of NFTs, the airdrop will be made to the wallet that made the purchase, not to the wallet that currently holds the NFT

An airdrop of $ALDEA tokens will be made for participants of iteration 0.
Claim for delegators
Delegators from ALDEA stake pools - and others - will be able to claim $ALDEA tokens.
Late Claims and LATAM Projects
Delegators who were unable to claim in the previous phase will be given a second chance. Verified projects from the LATAM community will also be included.
Vesting for ALDEA SPOs
ALDEA SPOs will have access to a token allocation with a 3 year vesting period.

General Description
There will be a total of 650M $ALDEA tokens, one for each inhabitant of Latin America, which will be minted in a one-time event.
The ALDEA fungible token will have 6 decimal places and will be created on the Cardano blockchain with a closed policy. This means that the total supply of tokens cannot be altered, both for burning and for the issuance of new tokens.
Fair Distribution
A fair distribution of tokens has as its main objective to distribute a percentage of them through some objective criteria that is not a direct sale and guarantee that everyone has the same access to that distribution.
